Default Socket sitting randomly in engine bay

Hello, any idea what 's up with this socket that is sitting randomly in the front of the car? is it for the aerpoack RDL? The car is from 2008 bare in mind attached you will find photos of it.

Unused plug, it is blanked off, probably for the tpms, guessing you don't have tpms.

Ohh lol, was it an option for 2008? I have a set of Ursa winter tyres that have TPMS
