Default Speaker Wiring front door mid/high, 250w - 380w Upgrade

Hi All,
I have purchased and fitted a sub enclosure and 12 channel factory amp to upgrade my standard 250w 8 channel no-sub setup in my 2015 XF.

The amp plugs in file and drives the sub, but from the wiring diagram and advice I have been given I gather the mid and high channels for the front doors need to be separated to function properly. I gather this is done at a C44 connector rather than the splice shown in the wiring diagram for the 250w setup where the mid and high are joined from the factory.

Could someone who has done the swap to the 12 or surround 16 channel setup please advise what the wiring change needed is to separate the front door mid and high channels? Have seen various references in past posts to change being done near the amp but no specifics on which connector/pins etc that I can find.

Assistance greatly appreciated before I shell out the $ to get my SDD install activated to edit the vehicle CCF.

Thanks!

Scratch that, found a Russian article with details of the connector and pins to swap.

Just because you put a 12 channel amp (OEM right?) doesn't mean the software will recognize the sub. I am pretty sure you will need to upgrade the software also.
