Default Sportbrake's boot styrofoam etc

Hi all,

Does anyone have a picture of what is supposed to be in the sportbrake (2013) boot, my floor is sagging so it must be something missing like a foam tray and other stuff. I have red spare wheel, and few bits, but that's all.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Kult the foam tray for the tools does not provide any support. On our 2019 SB the floor is relatively strong but if it were overloaded we feel it would sag. This would be especially true if a heavy weight was allowed to sit in there for a while.

Oh, I thought it would provide support at least to the sides, because where 3 pieces fold, this is where is sags on the sides where there is no side rail support , thank you for your reply.

Good morning, Indeed there is a foam which allows the mat to be blocked in height which folds into 3. This is a mini equipment storage bin.

I really appreciate posting those pictures! Could you please tell me if you have a spare wheel or pump pack? Some people have sparewheel but in that case, the top tray is shallow tray.

Hi,
It looks like tray site on top of side rails so now I can see why floor is not sagging where it bends. I think it creates support for the floor at least on its sides?

I have a compressor, the plate is not deep. the edge of the tray has a thickness of 15 mm which actually rests on the rail, which allows the trunk carpet to be maintained in height without it sagging.

Height of the tabletop

Without the foam tray

You could put two bars of scrap wood 15 mm (0,59 pouces) high while waiting to find a tray so as not to damage the trunk plates, I did not cut this example.

Hi,
Thank you very much for the pictures. I used 70cm lenght 16x16mm sticy back trunking on the rails and now it sits flat, no sagging. I understand I have no support across the boot but this is just temp solution till I get the tray and I won't be loading car with heavy goods. Found picture of shallow tray with spare wheel, this is very hard to get!

Good morning, Indeed I just looked and it's not easy to find the tray alone. the reinforcements you put in will already reinforce it well. Good evening
