So after servicing the WP,ALT & SC, the starter actually started just clicking when cold, a sign the solenoid is getting weak. 7yo 85kmi = no complaints here.

Dis connect battery
remove the 2 starter electrical connections
remove 2 bolts, top one is captured so undo both the top and bottom at the same time.
starter is out
