Sounds like it... did you contact them? Run a diag and send the files. After adding the carnk pulley Mine car was pulling boost. It was over running and boost was too high.

Been great since the mew file

Hey guys, i’m resurrecting an old thread. So I just did the lower pulley and again measured the boost using the intake manifold, absolute pressure PID I’m still only obtaining around 9 psi of boost (sometimes will hit 10psi). I have my Tuner looking into it as to my knowledge the boost/torque limiters are the things that would limit boost but my tune is supposed to have raised those.

I’ve tested 4 supercharged 5L jaguars (XJ, two XFRs and one f-type and they all ran around 8psi stock and around 9-10psi with an upper pulley. A lower pulley is supposed to add about another 4 psi. For those who are saying they are seeing 29 pounds of boost, are you reading that through the computer? If so, it’s likely that the actual boost you are running is whatever you’re seeing minus 14.7 psi which is atmospheric pressure. The manifold pressure PID reads 1 bar (14.7psi) when the engine is off since that’s atmospheric pressure. With the car on it should be seeing around. 0.3 bar which is vacuum since it’s below one bar.

So if you’re seeing 29 psi through that PID you are actually running 14.3psi which makes sense for a 5L with an upper and lower pulley upgrade.

Sorry, that should have read that all the cars I tested ran around 6psi stock and 8 to 9 psi with an upper pulley and tune. With an upper and lower and tune you should be seeing around 14psi.
