Maintenance and associated costs
Recently purchased a xf, jagaur has been a car I've always wanted to own sense a child, wife wouldn't let me get the xj vandam plas I wanted so I settled on the 2009 xf non supercharged. Big question I have is. Is the timing chain worth replacing even without symptoms of any stretching or knocking?
Thank you for response, no issue I feel or hear, aside from typical jag electrical gremlins.and by that I mean seat won't go forward or back but switch and ohms are leading me to suspect a fuse or or just needs a reset and one air vent rail is broken so won't go up.
Number one thing is the ability to DIY the repairs. Can you?
Relying on a commercial garage will be a very expensive experience.
You came to the right place so spend some time reading the forum on your car to get familiar with the common problems and repairs.
