straight pipes?
I don't think it was worth it IMO. High flow cats would have been a better avenue. The best sound my car had was with the rear mufflers removed (straight piped), as it still had the factory resonator and factory cats. I will admit my car sounds pretty mean, but it is very loud and I get drone sometimes on the highway. If you want to go that route, what you need to do is get anti foulers (available at any auto parts store) to space out the 2nd O2 sensor. That is what I did and I do not get any check engine light.
did you try this ???? Ill be interested in something similar. Im thinking of starting with taking the stock mufflers off and putting straight pipes and seeing how loud it gets. Then maybe putting in an xpipe
