Supercharge Tach not steady

Can someone with a supercharge XF tell me if their tach oscillates when the engine is rev'd toa steady 1500-2000 rpm? Mine moves up and down about 75 rpm. I am not sure if the engine has a miss that is doing this or if it is just the tach.
As the throttle control is electronic (drive by wire) your right foot does not directly control the throttle so it would be impossible to know if the rpm is steady or changing due to anything you are doing. Presumably, the electronic throttle only "knows" how fast the engine is running by feedback from the tach.
One amazing thing about the XF (and the X Tyoe I had before) is how the Jaguar engineers make a purely electronic throttle feel like it is actually connected to the engine. I swear I can feel the engine vibrations through the pedal just as if the throttle were connected by cable to the pedal.
