Just verified on my 2011 xfsc an intercooler behind each cat eye bumper opening. Impossible to tell if its air-air or air-water

JTIS for XKR - I doubt the plumbing will have changed significantly
The cooling system for the supercharged engine is very similar to the normally aspirated engine, but with the addition of a water cooled, intake air charge cooling system. This comprises a radiator, an electrically operated water pump and two charge air cooler assemblies (heat exchangers). The system works independently, but is connected to the main cooling system at the bottom hose to allow for thermal expansion and to help to prevent unwanted circulation. The supercharger cooling system is integrated with in the engine cooling system but uses a separate radiator and electrical water pump.

The coolers behind the openings on each side of the bumper are oil coolers not intercoolers.

cool I have no idea or want to take this car apart and understand how it does what it does. I plant my right foot and it pushes me firmly into my seat gathering speed at an alarming rate. Nothing else matters until it is off warranty... plan to trade it before that happens.

It will push you into the seat at much greater and much more alarming rate if you did the ECU upgrade (i.e. ETG for example). My car is a beast, and should be about the same as XFR-S in engine output.
Also, does not void the warranty, and fuel consumption is the same.
I did mine at about 6,000 miles, now at 20,000 mi. Big difference. - the ultimate sleeper now.

The finned design and location tell you these are liquid to air coolers.

Yidal8, it is tempting.... but I am concerned about the warranty. This car is always in the shop, I see the dealer once a month. It doesn't bother me unless I have to start paying for it.

Where did you get that information?

Of course it will void the warranty. No dealer is going to be responsible for a breakdown caused by the modification.
Sometimes they will even go inside the port and see if anyone has been there other than themselves.
