Default SV8 2009 Hunting and Stalling

My SV8 2009 175,000 k is stalling when slowing down to stop or turn slowly.
Sometimes on start the the revs fluctuate as though the car is trying to find the correct idle.Sometimes it starts and sits constant no fluctuation.
On restart will fire and run then slowly lose revs and stall.
I charged the battery still had same issue .It was a little down but now ok.
Multiple codes P0193,PO 172,PO101,PO10B.

Any thoughts ? Maybe the fuel pressure sensor again? I have had this replaced before had similar issues ......(but not the hunting)

I love this car but this is testing me.
Cheers

Well that P0193 is for the fuel pressure so you might be right?
Have you cleared the codes and drove some more? I ask because all cars will always have a P1111 or P1000 code depending on if the codes have been erased recently which should give you a P1000 code. If the monitors are all set the car should have a P1111 code.

Can you measure the fuel pressure and see what's happening? Maybe a fuel pump is getting weak from all those miles too. As a hail Mary pass I would change the fuel filter first as that's cheap and anybody can do it. Any idea when it was last changed?

Oh just to be sure? You do have the 4.2L V-8 engine?

Thanks yes it is the V8 4.2 engine
I will clear the codes and drive some more.
I will look at the fuel filter no harm in replacing it was done a while ago but not recently .
I agree the fuel pump replacement is probably good preventative maintenance anyway.
I will check the fuel pressures once the codes are reset.
Thanks for the help so far it is appreciated.
Cheers

My SV8 has done this hunting and stalling exactly as you describe several times. If I jiggle or unplug/replug the connectors on the sensors at the air filter boxes (can't recall confidently but I think these are the intake air temp sensors) the problem disappears. Have had the problem three times, twice it was the RHS and once the LHS. One of these days I'll remember to spray some contact cleaner in them. These connectors are prone to this problem I suspect because they are disconnected and reconnected every time the car is serviced, unlike most connectors that can go the life of the vehicle without being touched.

Hi All
I have cleared the codes .
Car is now idling and running without missing a beat .
I have taken for a drive and no stall conditions on slowing down and stationary.
Attached diagnostic repoprt.
Fuel rail pressure is 380kpa.

Codes are now PO 101-00 and POB-00

I will clean the MAF sensor contacts on each intake.

I do not think this is fixed yet but it certainly is behaving differently today.
Thanks again forall the input it is appreciated.

Now done 200km driving in varied conditions.
No fault codes and car not hunting or stalling.
Smooth idle at about 650 rpm.
So can only assume was mafs loose/poor connection because that is all I touched.
Not really confident but the car is running fine.
So I will not touch anything else just yet.
I will do fuel filter next service due soon and maybe replace the fuel pump as preventative maintenance.
Thanks again for all your help this forum is great for us Jag owners.
Cheers
