Hello, I have a 2009 SV8, I love the car. This week a Dipped Beam Headlight stopped working. I removed the lamp and ordered a replacement (I live in the Middle East).

As I was checking the lights, the side lights were working. Next day I got the messages - Park Brake Not Available and Cruise Not Available. Also, the sidelights have stopped working.

Can anyone tell me if/how they are connected? Is it a fuse or a relay or just my luck!!

Check the battery. Typically electrical issues are battery related in the XF. You may need a new one.

 

So the lamp is out while you wait for a new one? I'd put it back and see if everything else comes back. (It wasn't clear if the new lamp is in already or not.)

 

Thanks for the replies. Sorry Jesse I wasn't clear, while I'm waiting for the new lamp I have put the dud back in but it made no difference.
