Default The time has come...

After almost 11 years of amazing ownership, the time has come to part with my 2010 XF V8 5.0 SC. It has been a blast - it was a 2-year old CPO when I bought it in 2012 and have truly loved every minute of it. We always see on here posts of problems and issues - but stepping back in 11 years it never failed to start, it never broke down on me, never let me down anywhere, I don't think I ever even saw the 'check engine' light. Regular annual maintenance and care (despite comments on cost, I remained with the dealer and did the basics myself thanks to many of you here on the Forum). This has been a truly wonderful community and i hope I've been able to share back some help to others over time too.

It is my daily driver through the New England weather and I finally decided I need AWD for the winter snow and it was getting to the age that issues would be imminent. So with much sadness I traded it last Friday for a new F-Pace SVR. So - I'm not going far and will keep in touch on the Forum - and check back on the XF pages from time to time!

I have some accessories and extras accumulated over the years which I will list in the classifieds when I get some time. Although if there is an XF owner in the Boston area who is interested in making an offer feel free to PM me. I have the four OEM staggered 20" Selena wheels plus a spare front Selena - all 5 with Sottozero winter tires. Couple of extra rear Sottozero tyres (as the rears wear faster on the RWD). The original exhaust system (I put the Mina on it 10 years ago). New Jaguar premium rubber floor mats, 10L of Jag-spec liqui-moly 0W-20 oil, oil filter and filter wrench. Prob some other stuff when I check around!

In the meantime thanks to the many helpful contributors on here that gave me such a wonderful ownership experience.
[F-Pace is terrific - will post impressions and comparisons in a few weeks once I've had a bit more chance to explore it!]

Well you certainly don't do things half way!
An SVR of any kind is a tremendous vehicle!

And a true glutton for punishment too with not 1 but 2 black cars!

Get your supercharged Jaguar gasoline engines while you still can!

It is so nice to hear good stories and positive comments about these Jags. Thanks. "Britcars" still applies too.

Thanks - yes, I thought it was good to get one last V8 SC engine! I did shop a few of the electrics but the range was way short for any of the ones I liked (e.g. the BMWs) and I'm concerned on battery fade...

I've listed some parts from my 2010 XF V8 on the marketplace - Selena wheels, winter tires, the OEM exhaust system. If you'd like more info, pls PM me
