Default Tire Sizes

I currently have a 2007 Jaguar XK. Due to an expanding family it is time to get a 4-door car that can fit child seats in the back. I am looking at the XF but have a question regarding tire sizes. I have a set of 19" factory wheels with winter tires that I use on my XK. The fronts are 245/40/19 but the rears are 275/35/19. I live in the midwest so I need to be able to drive in winter conditions and would really prefer to not have to buy a new set of wheels/tires for the XF. Does anyone know if the fronts and rears I have will fit on a 2009 or 2010 XF?

I don't know the answer, but you may be able to get that info by checking the Tire Rack Web Site (and no, I do not work for Tire Rack).

I am almost positive current generation XK wheels fit all current jaguar products. They use the Ford bolt circle and hub bore. Offsets may vary but not by enough to matter I should think.

Your rear tire width seems a tad large but since the XF uses XK suspension they should work. You'll get a little more understeer but that's OK for winter.
Any dealer can confirm.

I know the rear offsets on my SC are significantly greater that the XK rears. I believe this is also true for other XF models but not as significant a difference. Checking with dealer is best bet. The SC fronts are 49 and the rears 66. XK's may be in the 20 something mm range in the rear.

Thanks for the responses. At least I have hope that I can make this work. I'll check with the dealer to get their thoughts.

This might help...XF wheels California Chrome Wheel Inc. - OEM Chrome wheels and rims for the Jaguar XF and XFR luxury sedan.

You will basically see every xf wheel and dimension of it displayed on the page. I know it doesn't give offeset, but hopefully it helps.
