I finally found the time to get out to the track to see how my XF-S runs...

took all the advice from this forum on experiences on best ways to launch and as always they were spot on.

Other than my horrible R/T, she hooked up great and I ran a 12.90 at 110. w/ more passes, I'm sure I could get that down a little but What a thrill!

 

If you had fun doing that, you have to try a road course. The XFR goes and handles great for such a large car. The brakes are phenomenal on the track, standing up to repeated hard use without fade.

 

I wish I had 4 point harness' in my XFR when I went n a road coarse , I was slipping around in the driver seat but the cat stayed balanced well for a heavy tank.

 

that's my next thing on the list! Where did you guys go to do that?

 

I did the R Performance Driving Academy at Las Vegas Raceway. Relatively nearby me are Sonoma Raceway, Laguna Seca and Thunderhill.
