Default Towing capacity

Okay, this is going to peg me as a true heretic and maybe an idiot, but I’d like to know what the towing capacity is, if any, of a 2014 Jaguar XF, 3.0 awd? And has anybody heard of an easy on/off receiver (so the car doesn’t look stupid when not towing).

Greetings from another heretic. I recently fitted a swan neck tow bar to my 09 XF 3.0D, from PF Jones in the UK. It wasn't as easy a job as the tow bar I fitted to my previous XJ6, but still a do-able DIY job. There are detachable versions available, but considerably more expensive. The actual ball section locks into place on the tow bar fame/assembly, so when not in Use, nothing is visible I'm not sure of towing capacities, as I use mine to vey occasionally pull a very small, very light trailer, so it wasn't a big concern, but a simple google will give you the answer. Remember, when towing, pulling isn't always the issue, stopping, on the other hand is. Visit PF Jones website and you'll see what's available as a starting point. The swan neck model is not obtrusive and is rather elegant, in as much as a tow bar can be elegant! PS. The tow bar isn't fitted in the picture shown.
