Default TPMS Module Issue?

I'm after some advice and potential garage recomendations. My TPMS light is illumonated and has been for a while, it has been to Jagman in Wigan who have advised ALL sensors are reading and they have chnaged the module for a reconditioned module, which didnt stop the light. It passed as an advisory on my 2022 MOT but garage have failed it today. Jagman cannot look at the car for a few weeks. I am aware the TPMS system can be mapped out, although i cant find anywhere to do this, even if until MOT passes. I assume my next step is a new module being fitted to see if it fixes the issue - Does anyone have any other recomendations for actions or garage to use in Wigan, Chorley, Bolton or surrounding areas? Thanks

In my case, I had a pin out on one of the harness plugs.
I looked at coding it out but you need an older version of SDD and an older laptop to run it.

1) Do you have a message in the message centre?
2) Have you read the codes?
If all 4 sensors are reading it is possible you have a wheel initiator failure. These are relatively cheap and if you do not have a code reader just continuity test them. If one is open circuit it wall cause system failure. Cheap code readers can read the codes on the TPMS system it’s basically a Ford system.

Hi,

I can sympathise - I have had an ongoing problem with my 2014 XF, although in my case it transpired that, despite fitting new sensors to all four wheels (part number as per Jaguar parts list), it turned out that in 2014 there was a crossover and (sods law) mine were the wrong ones. I'm currently awaiting delivery of the correct sensors but, just like you my MOT was due. I discovered that if you remove the fuse (I think it was F32 in the rear fusebox), replace same and then use a code reader to delete the code(s) the dash light will stay off for around 10-13 miles of driving. The system is going through the learning process and, until the fault is detected again, the lights stay off. I know you obviously want to get the system working but this may help to get through the MOT. Good luck.
