Default Air vent malfunction

Hello everyone and thank you for welcoming me to the forum. I am Italian and I recently bought a 2013 XF 2.2.
I replaced the central air vent clutches on my car. They all open when I start the car but when I stop the car the central air vents stay open. They only close when I open and close the driver's side door. I would like to do a reset by disconnecting the battery. Is it possible or is it dangerous? If it is possible, how should I reset? I have two batteries. Thank you and sorry for my english...

Thanks a lot for the answer. I actually noticed that the central air vents close later than the side air vents. the opening and closing of the door was just a coincidence. Even the automatic windows sometimes work and sometimes not...
