TPS pickup units

Can anyone tell me how the front Tire Pressure sensor pickup sensors mount on a 2012 XFR? Mine are just laying on the engine compartment tray and that does not seem right!

There's a slot they sit in on the back edge of the front tray behind the wheel arch
