Default Transmission issues

Hi guys,

I just bought the car 3 weeks ago with extended warranty that covers up to $3,500 per claim. During the past week I've noticed a bunch of issues with the car transmission. The transmission is being rough when the gears are changed, having transmission jerks, squick little bit when I speed up and is passing 35km/h, couple times I had to put it on N, then go back on D and speed up. The tech got 10 errors during the test. He tried to clear them, changed the oil and also updated the software. The technician sad that the transmission may be at the end of life and probably it will need to be changed if these will continue this week. As Jag is not re-building theirs transmissions, I will probably have to look for a used one here in Canada. I hope the warranty company will cover the costs as the policy just started. The dealership that I've brought the car from, do not care about doing anything as they are saying that the car passed the jaguar dealership inspection at the purchasing time. At this time, I'm doing investigations before I will address the issues to my lawyer and go further.

Did anyone had the same experiences with theirs transmissions and ended up fixing it the issues or changing it?

Cheers,
M

PS: I'm politely ask the "funny" guys that are around just for jokes to pass this topic. Thanks

There was a TSB published for the ZF trannys in the 4.2 cars. Entailed adding some kind of additive. Might want to check to see if that was ever done.

Thanks guys,
The trans just gave up couple of days ago. It looks like the dealership that I've bought the car from them put mineral oil instead of synthetic oil in the transmission and had one of the coolant broken line and tide up with a plastic tie. My Jaguar dealership is preparing a report for my lawyer now, so I will end up taking the guys to the court. It is what it is.

Unfortunately not, I've bought it from a crap company from Toronto that called them-self reputable . It is not worth it to mention theirs name. I guess they will enjoy it when the lawyer will serve them the court file. I guess, this is the life, you can win it everyday.
