my friend has them on his benz. he said all you do is wire them to the fuse box. The threshold will have a two-wire hookup. Black and red. You have to wire them into the courtesy lights fuse.He told me the other way is to run the wires into the door jamb and wire it into the wires running into the door. *the samefriend works for an acura dealership* At Acura, installing those voids some waranty. His Benz is a 2008 s550 and the warranty is not affected. He said check your dealership before going through with it.

kit comes with full instructions . Pretty easy to install just have remove a pin reinstall a pin and connect a connector and pass the wiring under the heater box and push the new plates in.

Has anyone figured how to wire the illuminated
Tread plates to the blue accent lighting on the doors??

I would like the tread plates to stay on when the accent
lighting goes on at night, etc....
