Default Two left Parking Sensor packed up

Hi, can anyone confirm if the Boot loom does have anything to do with the parking sensors? the problem was intermittent to start with and is not nearly all the time. Before I strip it out :-)

Oh had it all apart once, cleaned the sensor and checked the wiring behind the bumper, seemed better for a day or so and now back to not working.

Many thanks
Geoff.

The sensor wiring is like 24 gauge, so thin it often corrodes inside the shielding. Best to replace its not that expensive
