Default replacing this pump

Thanking you for this post as I have been struggling with this pump from everything including ordering wrong pump to installing it improperly at least 3 times. now have new O rings and going to line it up once more. I am acquiring this vehicle from my daughter and enjoy the car but the information on fixing things that go wrong is scarce.

Thumbs up

this post is right on time I have to replace my front crossover tube, it leaking at the very bottom in back of the water pump I thought it was the black short tube that connect the water pump and the oil cooler

This thread goes into a little more detail on that.

Yes. But if you've never removed the supercharger before, the interference fit pegs underneath it can make it tight. I had to use considerable force (bolting two straight metal bars to the whole supercharger/inlet manifold assembly and rocking it with a gym buddy) to get it off.

Thank you for the amazing post @Bigg Will , I'm going to be tackling this on my mom's Jag once I source all the needed parts. She has a coolant leak from a hose between the supercharger and firewall.

What oil did you use for the supercharger service? and what is the recommended/required quantity?

Thanks!

I'm starting to get a minimum coolant loss, as a precaution it's worth changing everything and described here it's a 11 year old car it won't hurt.

Could you please list all the part numbers involved?

Thanks.

Hi Carlos
Just to let you know Bigg Will sold his Jag and moved on some time ago.
But follow the links he posted I think he has part numbers as he was very though in his repair threads.
Too bad he no longer posts. He did a lot of good work.
