I just finished putting my water pump back after a full plastic pipe swap when I noticed I am missing that small plastic ring that
locks the small return water pipe. Anybody know what its called and how I can get it. Thnx so much.
.
I found a replacement in a hardware store. These are standard high pressure pipe lock nipples also used in lab equipment. Just in case somebody else has troubles.

Needing one of these too, What are they for that you can ask at the hardware store?
Does anybody know the position of the o ring in the kit? Does it go on the grey fitting where it sits against?/ inside the brass housing or does it slide onto the brass nipple and go flush against the grey fitting? Maybe a pic installed?

The o-ring is installed inside the water pump. Use a small pick to remove the old one from the water pump. The o-ring sits in a groove inside the water pump. The (grey) locking fitting should be inserted into the water pump next. Finally, insert the elbow fitting.
