Way to avoid 3min ignition on when using SDD?

Default Way to avoid 3min ignition on when using SDD?

When using SDD diagnostics, how can one avoid the auto ignition off after 3 mins ?

you need to connect the car to a ' power support unit ' to maintain voltage

once the OBD2 is connected, and you follow the laptop instructions in SDD , no need to worry about the ignition position, the laptop will prompt you

I have been meaming to ask this question myself, I had mine connected to a 30amp charger the other week and the car still shut down with SDD running. It wasn't down to low voltage either as the battery measured 12.44v

Yes that is exactly the problem, I have a 60A charger but it shuts down anyway. Am looking if SDD offers some solution, if so, will post it here....

It's been well documented that you need a stout DC power supply with proper regulation. I had to break down and get one because no battery charger will work.
You need something like this;





I think you need 12.6 VDC minimum or SDD shuts down. My car runs 13.4 VDC with the power supply hooked up.
