Didn't you have some crazy alignment issues too? I saw your rear main oil leak pics, put me on the lookout for any leaks on mine.

The water pump
E Diff
Brake rotors
And supercharger where done before I got my XFR under warranty according to Carfax and the dealer I got it from.
A/C condenser
Cooling fan and controller since I've had it.
Tire pressure system got updated
Windows is delaminating
The dash has wrinkles
It has an open passenger air bag recall
And I replaced the Intercooler pump as a preventive measure.
78500 is my current mileage.
Best car I've ever owed..

Mine is a 2010 XF SC which is essentially same as XFR mechanically. 40k miles
Aside from water pump replacement and a leaky power steering pump - both replaced under warranty - and the classic sunroof rattle that was cured early on, it has been perfect without any issues. Certainly the most reliable I have owned

On the comments above re supercharger, I don't recall any specific issues with the supercharger models - are there known problems specific to SC cars?

Yep, on the SC a thing called the "torsion isolator" can wear out fairly quickly and cause the front end of the engine to make a rattling noise like a can of marbles. Plenty of threads and posts on here about it.

I just figure I now have the 2.0 version..lol And for those who have owned high performance cars and actually DRVE them, if you're not breaking them, ya not driving hard enough. Check the web, Jag is no worse mechanically than MB, BMW, Audi, Maserati, Porsche, Lambo or Ferrari.

no... i agree,,, all modern cars are prone to failing parts... there are more parts,,, the parts are more complicated and break easier...ie plastic coolant hoses and manifolds, ive never really had major issues with any car ive owned ever.... my jag isnt my driver so it doesnt see much wear and tear...its a 2010 with 9,000 miles... i keep it in the garage like My super-car, like Lotus does his Lambo ; )
