Winter tires
I found a good deal on a set of winter tires. I pickup a new to me 2012 XF base 5.0l on Wednesday!
The winters I picked up are Replica r189 rims 5x108 and Pirelli sottozero 3 winter tires. They only had 4000kms on them and I managed to get them for $900CDN.
I got home and realized I misread the tire size. They are a 225/45/18 and not the recommended 245/45/18.
Should I be concerned or just throw them on and send it. Obviously narrower, but also slightly less tall.

speedo will run slightly less than actual speed but will I be causing any issues with the diff or transmission?
