2007 jag s type..just bought the car used and didn`t check wipers... They work on slow and fast but the auto doesnt work, the intermittent doesnt work on any setting and the single pull lever doesnt work ..wondering if this is a fuse,sensor or stalk issue ..any ideas for an amutuer to check?? Thanks

 

That is a common symptom on the XF when the front wind screen is replaced and the rain sensor is not put back on correctly.

Check to see if you have an aftermarket screen and I bet the sensor was not put back correctly.

 

Another possibility is the turn signal stalk.
I replaced mine when I had an S Type. Found a new one on EBay for about half the dealer price of around $250.


Do you know what the rain sensor looks like? It's mounted separately on the inside of the windshield up by the rear view mirror. It has to be in the correct spot to.
