Default Wow!

So I took the car to the dealership to have inspection/emissions done and look at the list of items being replaced under warranty.
  • replace key hole cover on driver’s door handle
  • replace left rear door chrome trim
  • replace both front door rubber gaskets
  • resecure glove box
  • replace left front shock, internal failure, causing the adaptive dynamic fault
  • replace rooflight assembly

With that said I do have two bent rims. Anyone know of any aftermarket warranty I can buy that would cover rims and tires?

The dealer sold a rim/tire/door ding protection package to me when I bought the car. I knew the jags large rims were prone to bending so I picked that up for about $400. Ask the dealer if they have any options. It isn't through Jaguar though so you could probably find something similar online.

Yeah I will have to call around to a Jaguar dealership and see what I can get.

I bought one too but it covers tires, rims, dings and windshield. It cost me $895 which is roughly the cost of 2 tires and possible rim damage from pot holes. I know from experience unfortunately. I had to replace 2 tires on my 2010 XF due to pot holes so I thought it was a descent deal. I guess I could have paid less but already had talked them down some on it and repainting my rims so I was a little exhausted by then. The warranty I got is through IAS Warranty Inc. and may be specific to California. It's called a Multi-Shield Service Contract for New and Used Vehicles. I got the 5 year term. It covers my 20" rims (XFR) and ZR rated tires specifically.

Thanks for the information guys. I am going to be purchasing one through the dealership tomorrow when I pick up the car.
