Xf 2.2D propshaft center bearing
Hi, does anyone have a link to the part or even better a guide to replacing the propshaft center bearing on a 2.2D facelift. I saw the post about getting the Land Rover propshaft center bearing and cutting the "bushing" out of it and pressing it to the Xf's center bearing housing, yet I dont see how that would work or am I missing something here?
My reasoning for it not working is that the way I see it is that they're usually vulcanized to the housing and can't be removed without tearing it. I could be wrong as I have not personally seen the Land Rover part, but only in pictures.
I really like this car and would like to keep it, but with the current state of this bearing (or specifically its bushing's condition), I'm quite limited on how much I can drive this car as it starts to shake pretty badly. Thanks in advance.
