Default XF 2010 - Reverse Camera Blue Screen Part Number Enquiry

Hello all,

I recently purchased a 2010 XF S Premium Luxury and when I put it in reverse I get a blue screen. Sensors work, I just cannot see the camera. The guy told me when it had it's most recent service (full service history) they told him it's a cable that needs replacing in the boot but they didn't have it in stock so he didn't bother getting it replaced as he'd have to wait.

I've done some digging online through these forums and on Google, and I've found what seems to be the popular go-to part to fix this problem. I have a part number (C2Z19978) that I have found here fairly cheap (forgive me if I'm not allowed to post links to websites), however although it says "JAGUAR - XF 2009-2015" it also says "FROM VIN S61362" but the last part of my VIN is S04331.

Does anyone know if this part will be compatible with my car? Or will I need a different part?

Many thanks in advance, much appreciated.

You can cross check the part number here: https://partsfan.com/jaguar and here https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.../brand/jaguar/
Also, Britcar will be able to verify the correct number if you provide them with the VIN of your car. They are usually quick.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I've heard back from Britcar and they've supplied me with a part number(s) that are for my VIN. The part they're recommended is here, costs double the price but it is what it is.

Thanks for the tip!

Did you get an answer on your boot part #? I inquired with a Jaguar Dealer and gave them C2Z19978. Once I gave him my vin # he said the part would be C2Z19874. But, I think the other one will work? I think the one they gave me is an updated one. But, I'd love to hear your answer because there are many available with the original, I'm having a hard time finding the 2nd one. Thanks, Diane
