Default XF 5.0 V8 supercharged

I have a problem with the jaguar fx 5.0 v8 supercharger. After replacing the engine in the model from 2009 for the engine from 2015 in which I replaced the flywheel and signal discs at camshaft fights because the engine is of a newer generation and had a different crankshaft position and other camshaft positioning discs and a slightly different wiring harness which I replaced . Now, only when the gas is added, the light turns on to me and there are errors related to the wrong timing. Do you have any suggestions?

General recommendaion is that anytime you put in a newer model year engine, you double check that all the sensors, coilpacks, MAF, Throttle body, injectors, and other peripherals are the same as the engine you are replacing. Often you end up having to replace the engine harness with the old one. Record all the error codes, find out what they are, then take a look at the parts that have to be swapped back to the MY engine that your ECM is tuned to. Be methodical and it may take some time to figure out.

entirely different engine management system, brand, style, approach - (denso vs bosch..) that's going to be a tough one to ever make correct

Didn't they use the 4.2 V8 in 2009 and the 5.0V8 in 2015? So not just different engine mgmt, but totally different engine?

OP didn't specify country of origin, and I think Europe had 5.0 a year before states did. I concluded that was the case but I could have been wrong

Ah yes. Says he's in GB (UK I assume?). And i think what we call 2009 was sold as a 2008 there. So you're prob right that it's the equivalent of a USA 2010 V8
