I noticed that on my wifes 09 XF Jaguar it is showing wear on the inner tires. It was aligned when the new tires were installed.

This is a significant problem with the S-Type also and Brutal has listed updated specs for alignment to help with this problem that can be seen here. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...43287494,d.aWc

My question is, have there been updated specs for the alignment of the XF? Can the alignment specs for the S-type also be used on the XF. Is anyone else seeing this problem yet?

 

My fronts had extreme outer tire wear. The rears have been fine. I brought it to the dealer to check it out and they charged me $200 for an alignment and didn't really say if it was out or not. I wasn't very happy considering I could have had it aligned anywhere else for under $100 and the dealer is out of my way. It's under warranty still so I was hoping it was something warranty related.

 

Incorrect alignment was done. My XF has never shown any uneven tire wear at either end on winters or summers. Correct alignment is critical for Jaguars.

 

I had very bad inner wear on my XFR rears. Thought it was just from all the squating on hard accel but still went back to the jag dealer told the to realign it and if it looked good prior to please add a touch of positive camber to make up for squating. And I must say the tire wear now is perfect!

I still cant figure out my alignment was so far off when the car was just 8 months old???
