Hi all! I don’t post a ton on here, but need your advice.

I recently purchased an XF S Sportbrake First Edition (low miles) and in fairly OK condition.

After taking the Jag wag home, I noticed the “no accidents known” area of the listing was inaccurate. The quarter panel has been re-sprayed after minor damage and the front bumper had also been re-sprayed for an even smaller dent or something.

I am unsure how to navigate this…The body shop guy said his shop wouldn’t touch the quarter panel, with no clear reason given as to why. He said the re-spray would eventually fade and even peel. He treated the car as if it had a list of cosmetic issues, but again, not a lot of talking.
