Good to know. But how to you put the grease on the bushes? There is virtually no access to them...

Release bolts and take bushes off.
And then put urethane grease on them.
It also not easy. But with proper tools you can do it.

The other way
Just release bolts. And put grease to inside of bush by syringe. and tighten bushes.

My friend said. When I use Ipd's urethane grease. I can put grease just once because It's very sticky and longlasting.

Please read attached photo.

Oof, here in the states that would be a significant cost associated with the install. $550+ for labor and $400ish for the bars? What happened to the good old days when the sway bars were readily accessible and an easy bolt on? I think the RSB on my old TL Type-S might have cost me $200 total with labor and parts.

I have a mechanic that might charge a reasonable price, how do we get the bars?

You have polyurethane bushes on your sway bars, have they been squeaking? I put poly ones on my rear bar and they squeak when I drive over speed humps, it's very annoying...
I found in a number of applications that I did not need to remove the bushings to lube them. I simply spayed at them with silicone lube spray which would last a few months.

Not trying to promote an other brand on this forum but, I am super happy with how easy to work on my '15 Stingray. Swaybars (front and rear) install in a matter of minutes; lowered the car in 15 minutes, damper changes in matter of minutes, change suspension at all four corners for more camber in minutes, again. All super easy to access, unlike so many modern cars which complicate the heck out of suspension component installations. Kudos the Chevy for this one.

Energy Suspension makes a polyurethane bushing lube that's available from their dealers. It's really thick and gooey, I refer to it as "gorilla snot", but it does work well. I've also used a Teflon impregnated product called "Super Lube", and although it's not as gooey as the ES stuff, it works well.

One thing you can do, is drill the bushing and bushing mount before installation on the car, and screw a zerk fitting into it, then use a grease gun.

It's good to know that an American car like the vette has smartly engineered components.

There's also a 2001 Corvette in my family fleet, along with the Jaguars. While I'd more or less agree that the 'Vettes are pretty well engineered, and easier to work on, like any other car, they do have their "trouble areas".

I was thinking more current vettes, but am not familiar enough with them.

There have been a number of upgrades and refinements over the years, however, the last MAJOR upgrade of the Corvette architecture was for the 1997 model year. Therefore, except for the engine, which was all new for the 2015 model year, my '01 Corvette is still very similar, mechanically, to the newer models.

Thanks for your work on pioneering this and getting it out there for our community!

But dang, that is 3.5x the cost shipped of most sway bars out there. After installation that is a healthy bill for what is normally a fairly cheap upgrade on most cars.

I agree, I wonder if we can arrange a group buy with the seller. If there is enough interest he might come down on the price.

Thanks very much! I only need a front bar (have already changed the rear bar to an XKR-S one) so I will contact J.Craft to see if they can do something for the front only.

What?!?! You guys are kidding right??

$550 delivered for a PAIR of sway bars AND the required bushes, for an obscure make/model with very limited aftermarket support.

That's a good price IMHO. You should be happy that these even exist!

BTW the OEM XFR-S front, XKR-S rear and bushes ex-UK;

XFR-S Front Bar $221
Front Bushes $30 x2
XKR-S Rear Bar $247
Rear Bushes $12 x2

Total: $552 + shipping!

The J.Craft bars are cheaper than OEM.
