Default XFR Extended paddles fitted

So I don't oftern use the paddle shift but when I do it's only to please the younger generation and show them where they need to pogress in life and displease the older generation both due to my pops and bangs on down shift.

But I always thought they where a but small and stubby, so today I did this, before and after pic's.....what do you think?

A bit high for me, but look they good. I suspect they do make hitting them easier.

Are they metal or plastic?

Hitting them easier? Hah! I had to pay $150 to the dealer to have them program my white XF to deactivate the paddles in D because they are so easy to hit accidentally. The grey one came from the factory with them off on D.

The last thing I would want to do is make them easier to hit.

And I am not so sure the design of those stick on paddles are in line with the styling of the car. There's nothing in the interior that has that carved out and cut edge look.

Carbon Fibre and brushed steel dash is about as racey as the XF interior got.

In my XF I'm able to change the settings to decide whether paddles work in S mode only or in D mode as well...shouldn't be a $150 option!
