Default XFR front grille all black

Hi
I have a 2010 black XFR and I want to paint the front grille black.
What's the best way of doing that?
Appreciate any guidance.
Thx
Dominic

Do you just want the grille black or the chrome surround painted as well?

I masked off my chrome surround and center badge and sprayed the grille with a few coats of black Plastidip about 5 years ago and it still looks great with no stone chips etc, which I'm staggered at. I feel like the chrome surround is a larger surface that potentially wouldn't look as good Plastidipped, but for the "chickenwire" grille, it worked well.

I recently had mine done (2011 XFR).

The previous owner had already done the bonnet (hood) and side grills, so I thought it was only right I finished the job and do the entire front.

I am really happy with the results. Here are some before and after shots.

Hui the pictures look great I like the way you did the Chrome delete in the front maybe I should do the same thing and give the appearance that the black grills are bigger with a bigger air intake what did you do about the trunk Chrome piece that goes across the deck lid I don't know what to do with it I already have a black spoiler so I think having that black that would look too much so I was thinking of maybe doing it white to match my car as well or leave it alone what are your thoughts

Def black the chrome out on the front, it looks great on a white car. I'd probably paint the the chrome trunk piece black rather than white.

Blacking out the piece on the back looks really good in my opinion. Here it is on my car
