Default XFR hood on SV8

Hi All,

I have a 2009 Jaguar XF SV8 and I want the XFR hood, does anyone know if this is possible to fit? I took it to Jaguar for a service and asked the guy but to be honest, he couldn't tell his right from his left hand.

Please let e know if anyone has done this and if it's possible.

Thanks!

XF hoods are interchangeable from 2009-2011

I wonder if you could install the supercharger vents on your current hood to save the trouble of swapping hoods for them. The hoods appear to be the same other than the vents. You can buy chrome vents from the dealer. Maybe a shop could cut holes and install them in your current hood.

Aluminum two layer hood, riveted and glued. No way I would be cutting holes. At the factory the hood panels are Pre cut before robots put glue, rivets and rolled edges on the two pieces. Those vent holes are there before the hood is assembled.
