I have a crack in my 2009 xf front grill. Can anyone tell me do I need to remove the bumper to replace the grill? Thanks

Do yourself a favor and order your service manual from here. I guaranty its the best $12 you'll spend on your XF

It is pretty easy but takes a while. Many screws/bolts to remove underneath. If I remember right there are only 4 or 6 bolts/screws that hold the bumper itself on. Most fasteners are in that black underpanel.


Once off it is very easy to work on. I put mine on sawhorses.
