X300 not start

Default X300 not start

Hi guys i have a 1996 X300 it was starting fine up until last week. I started it friday and everything was fine saturday morning it turns over but just wont fire start!! I suspect a fuel blockage, located the fuel filter but finding it awkward to remove.

Any help will be much appritated as its got its mot in a week!!

First and simplest check is the battery. Anything below optimum power can cause your car not to start. Have you tried a jump start, connected to the battery, not the terminal under the bonnet.

Before going in at the deep end and removing the fuel filter, check for a good spark on each plug. Removing the filter is a bitch of a job, inaccessible, with corroded pipes, nuts and connectors doesn't help.

I have changed the battery when i try to start the engine the battery charge needle goes into the red and the rpm stays at 0.
