I am always trying to make things more efficient (OCD maybe?) and one of the practises is to try and buy all of the servicing items from one location including oils and lubes. In due course I will create a separate list of items for each service interval, an annual one and a complete (everything changed) list.

This is my first bash at it for the Jag and I created this list, all from RockAuto Parts Catalog.

This may not be the cheapest option, but it is a one stop shop for the future for me (for now anyway!). Shipping was probably a little OTT, but hey ho!!

I have just recently purchased wiper blade inserts so they are not included her. brake pads and tires are a different matter. They also supply belt drives, tensioners and pulleys. I am however inclined to go to Jaguar dealers for those items.

I have also found that Walmart are the cheapest prices for Mobile1 High Mileage 5w30 engine oil and the Prestone Dex/cool antifreeze long life (orange lid one). Brake fluids and steering fluid are cheap there too just check the spec. I will put up a completed list of the oils and lubes cost when I purchase them shortly.

I will also report back on the Wix filter air and cabin filter fit.

I've got an early vin x350, G25XXX, and I find it impossible to get a cabin air filter that fits...I believe there is a v8n break on this part shortly after my model

 

The Wix 49379 Cabin Air Filter shown above is a perfect fit. Arrived, tested and fitted yesturday.

The transmission kit gets delivered in 2 parts but has arrived now. The Other items are still arriving ad Hoc. Although I can say, the Wix air and Cabin filters are perfect fits.

 

Finally got around to installing, swapping and updating all the parts on this service list and can say that they are all working well with my vehicle.

All of the various filters fitted perfectly.

Mobile 1 fully synthetic high mileage oil 5w 30 was $30 (5qt and 1qt) at Walmart.
Prestone Dex/cool 50/50 Antil freeze 2 x Gallons $26.
