Default 00 xj8 front end shake comes and goes

Hey guys I have a 2000 xj8. I just put new tires and balanced, driving the other day at like 65 and got a bad shake thru the steering wheel and when hit brakes got worse. I pulled over and when I started again it went away now coming back more frequently any help would be appreciated. Did alignment twice and rebalanced twice.

Did you go back to the same shop that did your initial balance and alignment? Repeating the same actions and expecting differing results usually is futile. You might also consider worn components like tie rod ends or dampeners (shocks, struts).

YOU are also in the wrong forum for your car.

Try posting in the X308 forum, (the one for your car) to get a better response.
