I came from a 2008 Mercedes CL550. A sexy beast it was! But it was feeling dated, not having all the features of the newer cars. The Jag is my first jag having owned many Mercedes. My only real complaint...

This Jag can't handle like any of the Mercedes. I even had a GL450 that took corners better. Not to say this thing does bad on corners, in fact it was well to be so big. You just can't be a Benz in handling. No matter how big the Benz.

I think you will really like your new one. Negatives for me moving from a 05 XJR are the reduction in rear visibility, a little harsher ride and I do miss the adaptive cruise control. Somewhere in the Forum in times past I wrote a fairly thorough comparison between the two.

Make sure that you take it on a LONG test drive over different freeway surfaces, particularly fairly new/fresh black top. My 2012 has a rather rough, vibrating ride that I did not pick up on when I did my 5 miles test drive. After 50 miles, driving home, it was obvious that I did not like the ride. I'm working with Jaguar trying to remedy the issue.

Other than that, it is a fabulous car, I would unconditionally love it if they fixed the ride.

so after a week I really like the car, I do miss the adaptive cruise control, and sometimes I'm hearing a pop or rattle from rear. have to have dealer look into it.

Nice color combo Mike. Don't miss the adaptive cruise, I just had to replace the module. Not happy.
