2005 Jaguar XJ8 Reduced performance and erratic shifting

Hello everybody.
I have a 2005 XJ8 working just perfect until I just start the car and the transmission shifting erratic and I have the Reduced performance light
How I can correct this problem?

@Fbalcazar, two things to check before going any further with a diagnosis:

Battery voltage across the terminals when checked with a voltmeter. There should be a minimum of 12.6 volts available for all modules to communicate along the CAN-BUS.
Fluid level in the gearbox. If it hasn't been serviced, it should have a fluid change and pan/filter replacement every 100,000 km/62,000 miles or five years.

Are there any DTCs stored in the system? If so, post them in the X350/358 forum.
