Default 2011 XJ Supercharged

I've been thinking about buying a 2011 Jaguar XJ Supercharged (110,000 miles) that's for sale near me. Are there any common issues I would need to be aware of prior to purchasing it? Thanks.

coolant system and make sure it has full service history - 2011 was an early year you want to make sure there were repairs done to fix things

Water pump, coolant plastic pipes, timing chain guides and tensioners, and supercharger snout coupler are what comes to mind. BTW all of those have been done on my XJ and may have been done on yours considering your mileage.

All good advice! Especially the list XJsss posted. It will save you a LOT of trouble!
Any chance you can get the maintenance records of what's been done?

Agreed with xjsss on timing chain tensioners, cooling system, supercharger snout. Also check for codes with a code scanner and make sure codes weren’t recently reset.

There are also several wear and tear items due around this time too:
suspension bushings, transmission and engine mounts, brake rotors, etc. If these haven’t been done recently they can get costly.

Other common quirks may include sunroof shades not working, sunroof track rusting, buzzing/rattling from behind door, speaker rattling, check that ventilated seats work (some have cracked ducting), slow touchscreen (can update to 2012 screen), and sticky buttons.

Have you had any issues after the latest waterpump? I was looking at purchasing a 2015 xjr as an upgrade from my 2009 xf supercharged.
