Exclamation 2011 XJ Supercharged crank but no start

Hello! I do not own a Jag but my friend does and I am here seeking for help. First off, he has a 2011 XJ Supercharged that was making a rattling noise in his supercharger snout. He proceeded in removing the supercharger and replaced something in the snout that is apparently common to break and cause a rattle.
While in the process, he also replaced the following:

Spark Plugs
Fuel Injectors (LINK) same part number
rear coolant pipe
water pump
engine oil cooler
valve cover gasket
supercharger snout and coupling

After putting it together, the vehicle will crank but won't start. No codes. Any specific steps he might have missed? He had it towed to a local shop, inspected his work and could not really find anything that would cause it not to start. The shop coded/calibrated the injectors. They want to replace the fuel pump due to low pressure but was asking $2200 so he had it towed back to his house and we replaced the fuel pump but still no start. He is at his wits end and im hoping you guys can shed some light and knowledge

Yes do some searches? It's seems to be more common every day?
I and several others have been bit badly using counterfeit parts!
Mainly counterfeit injectors.

This thread lays it all out with pictures. It appears your friend is a DIY guy? That will help a lot!

Oh no! That was EXACTLY what I paid for my 8 injectors on EBay too! Those are the injectors in my pictures in the thread I linked above.
I was too embarrassed to send them back for a refund since I had gone to all the work of installing them. They had some marks on them from that. Plus I had thrown away the boxes by that time too.

I think I just paid what a guy named Dave Ramsey calls the stupid tax!
Please have your friend get on this forum. He REALLY needs all the information he can get.

was it preventing your car from starting? Did the new oem injector fix the issue?

Yes but again read the thread! There are way too many details for a one or two word solution.
Again please have him join the forum. It will be worth his time.
