Default 2011 XJL Ride control question and DRL question.

I have a 2011 XJL with ride control but am curious to know how to tell if it is working and correctly. I see no lights or indication when the selector is moved to any of the three positions and can tell no difference in the ride.I get no fault warnings.

I also wonder if anyone has had the DRL's made active through the dealer on a 2011. I have seen mixed opinions on this on here.

Thanks.

sboblett, find a rocky road. Drive it once with the suspension in normal. Then turn around and turn on Dynamic mode and drive that same road. You should feel like you are about the loose all the fillings in your teeth. The ride is going to be really rough (Dynamic mode puts the suspension in max firmness). If the car is riding glass smooth, then your suspension system is working fine. If it senses any issue, it puts the system on max firmness to protect the car from loss of control due to things being too squishy/loose.
