Headups for anybody looking for quad tips. The set referenced above from UkStylings has been out of stock for a while, so I found these:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/QSC-Porsche...53.m2749.l2649

They look to be almost exactly the same and they're shipped from California. I ordered last night and they'll be delivered via Fedex tomorrow. The listing says they even come with different sized sleeves for a perfect fit, no filing or mods necessary. They accepted my offer of $200. I'll report back tomorrow evening after I've fitted them.

They look similar to mine. I hope they fit! Great price - did that include shipping? Be sure to post pix. Thanks.

No, shipping was $15. Still a great deal.

Me too. Can't wait to get home and try them out. I'm also getting an xpipe installed tomorrow

THEY FIT! And they're beautiful.

Very nicely made and a perfect fit with the thinnest adapter. Fitting an extra washer underneath the bolt will give you a bit of extra room and will make it easier to turn and tighten. I used the washer from the stock tips.

Side note: I got the xpipe installed and there's maybe just a 10% bump in volume. I was hoping for a just a bit more oomph.

Anyway, I am super pleased with the tips.

Thank you, I'm going to order them right now! So with the X-Pipe did you get the Magnaflow one and that mean you deleted the resonator's as well? I'm about to pull trigger on X-pipe as well.

My guy cut the middle two resonators out and put in a standard xpipe close to the cats, followed by straight pipes to the rear boxes, which I've left stock for now. The sound has deepened just a bit and its about 10% louder than stock. You probably wouldn't know there were any mods if you just heard it on the street. That being said, I have not heard it yet on a drive-by from outside the car, so it may be louder than I think. I'm debating whether to leave it alone or replace the stock rear boxes.

Is there any drone? I'm headed to muffler shop tomorrow to discuss options.

That ebay seller is at $225 for the tips for me. Said $200 is a mistake by another staff member. We'll see.

Thanks!

No drone whatsoever. The volume is still too low for there to be any drone.

Looks like maybe the seller is getting a bit greedy, although I still would've paid $225. I was quite surprised when they accepted $200, so maybe it was a mistake.

Ordered the X Pipe and the tips ($225) today. Going to do the exact same thing you did. Are you satisfied with the extra sound or do you want more? Had my car up on the lift today at shop and guy said new mufflers would probably be next if double resonator delete and X Pipe wasn't enough.

I'm not really that satisfied with the volume. I was hoping for a bit more. But I'll live with it for a while and see. If a used Mina Gallery exhaust ever comes up for sale, I'll probably give that a shot. I just can't justify $1000 for mufflers right now. I had the xpipe and Mina mufflers on my X350 and that sounded perfect, but those mufflers were only $600. So, we'll see.

Please let us know if you decide to get less expensive aftermarket mufflers welded in.

Honestly I doubt you'd be able to hear the difference through a video. It's that insignificant to my ears.

Yeah sounds like the mufflers are going to "muffle" it to much based upon what you have said. If I'm not happy I'll add aftermarket mufflers. Corsa corporate is literally 5 mins from my house so I may be stopping by there afterwards if I'm not satisfied.

I'm puzzled - I thought there would be a noticeable difference between (1) stock and (2) X-pipe with both resonators deleted and replaced with straight pipes.
