2012 XJ L trunk problem

For some reason my trunk keeps getting stuck it says boot open on the dash but the trunk won't open the dealership replaced the trunk latch but it keeps doing the same thing anyone else have this issue?

Ken,

Since you're getting an error light on the dash, I'd suspect that the switch in the trunk isn't properly plugged in or grounded, or that it's bad. See: SWITCH for 2012 Jaguar XJ|C2D7266
