I have a 2011 and am thinking of going into a 2013.
Anyone have any experience with the roof making noises like it did in the 2011. Mine never was repaired 100% and in the cold of winter it sounded horrendous.
I was also wondering if the nav software got any quicker.

 

My 2013 XJ SuperSport has 8k miles now and not a single creek or pop out of the roof. The Infotainment is faster, but still not the best in the industry.

 

I have about 1500 miles on my 2013 XJL Supercharged, and no problems at all with the roof, or any part of the vehicle for that matter. As others have commented, the infotainment is below average based on other 2013 luxury vehicles, but I didn't get the car for the "gadgets." I got it because it's the best damn looking vehicle on the road, and it turns heads wherever I go. If you're looking for better electronics/infortainment, head to Lexus or BMW.
