Default 2013 XJ Adaptive Lights Warning Lamp

Hi, I have a July 2013 XJ Portfolio (3.0D) and on my trip to work yesterday there was a crackle and a pop over the DAB audio (I lost all reception for about 5 to 10 seconds). This followed by the Adaptive Lights warning lamp flashing for the remainder of my journey. Checking the XJ handbook it states refer to dealer although lights will still operate.
Upon restarting the car for my journey home, the warning lamp has gone out now. The low speed turning lamps appear to be working okay and everything else appears fine. Has anyone else experienced this or know of an issue?
I am guessing this would be a warranty claim if I take to a main dealer?

Look forward to hearing your experiences,

Andy

The Adaptive Front Lighting, as you already know, uses a swiveling headlamp unit and cornering lamp to broaden the lighted area in the direction you are turning the vehicle. If both of these features are still working when turning either left or right, I guess I wouldn't go to the dealer, since you won't be able to demonstrate any malfunction.

The Adaptive Front Lighting, and Auto High Beam features have performed flawlessly on my 2011 XJL, and certainly makes night-time driving easier and safer. Good luck.
